A sample advertiser report

This is the report an advertiser gets every month, filled in so you can read one before you decide anything.

Sample, representative numbers. Example Gulf Coast Roofing is an invented business and every figure below is made up to show the shape of the report. No real advertiser's results are published here or anywhere else without their permission.

What these numbers do not show

  • They are not leads. We do not sell leads and we do not pretend a click is one.
  • They are not customers or sales. We cannot see your books and neither can anyone else who sells you advertising.
  • They are not a promise about next month. Traffic moves with the season and with the weather here.

What they do show is whether people are seeing you and whether they are pressing anything. That is the thing you are buying, so that is the thing we report.

How we count a view

  • One page load counts once, however long the reader stays.
  • Repeat loads from the same reader inside an hour count once.
  • Robots we can identify are removed, and so is every visit from our own offices and our own tools.
  • Nothing in this report identifies a reader. We hold counts, not people.

You get an email every week with the running totals and this report at the end of the month, whether the numbers are good or bad.

Your refund when a month shows nothing

In the founding pilot, any paid month with no measured contact actions from the advertisement is refunded. No argument and no form. If the space did nothing for you, we should not keep the money for it.
